Great Topics
After listening to one episode I decided to subscribe. While this podcast is designed to empower and inform women of South Asia by addressing divorce, money, mental health and more, I think all women can learn from the conversations. I’m a Mexican-American women married to a Pakistani-American man. The family dynamics can be very different than how I was raised. This podcast is informative.

Awesome podcast!
I’ve only listened to a couple of the episodes so far but this podcast is great! Julie has put in a lot of hard work into each episode and it really shows. The conversations are so real and applicable to my life as a South Asian woman in my mid-20s. I appreciate all the different perspectives offered and the high quality of the content in each episode. Way to go, Julie! Keep up the excellent work :-)

Practical, Meaningful
I love listening to the Brown Girl Podcast. Hearing the stories of others like you, their experiences is so comforting- I'm not alone. This is normal. Julie also hosts guests who are empowered and rising up to be meaningful contributors in their space. It's encouraging and inspiring. We need community like this you know- to hear stories that sound like ours and that provides a practical guide forward in that journey.
The information presented is extremely helpful and addresses real life issues. Thanks, Julie, for bringing us all together through your podcast.

not your cliché podcast
I actually learned quite a bit about financial literacy from this. Nice to feel represented in a saturated podcast world that it isn’t just about being brown, but Julie is also building small bridges. Refreshing to hear from individuals in different fields for anyone who feels similar cultural challenges or want to venture outside the normal expectations in our community but don’t know enough to make the first step!

Relatable, Engaging, and Insightful!
The Brown Girl Podcast is one of the best podcasts out there! Julie brings a new perspective to the South Asian culture that is refreshing and much needed. The wide array of topics discussed from finance to wellness and mental health have the ability to connect with listeners from all different backgrounds. Can’t wait to hear more episodes!
